The Report’s authors, CeRe: Resource Center for Public Participation, Center for Public Innovation, ActiveWatch, ApTI – Association for Technology and the Internet, FILIA Center and MozaiQ Association, analyzed the main democratic slippages of 2024 and the first part of 2025. The Report provides a comprehensive and informed look at the election year, including controversial legislative interventions, the degradation of political discourse, the polarization of society, pressures on critical voices and fundamental freedoms, and major vulnerabilities in the digital space. The chapters covered in the Report also cover issues related to public participation and transparency in decision-making, as well as information on women’s rights and LGBTQ+ rights
